Limateef Appointed Niger City Boy Movement Director

Ambassador Ahmad Abubakar, has been appointed Director of the Niger State Chapter of the City Boy Movement.

Reacting to his appointment, Limateef described the role as a call to service, saying it reflects increasing youth participation in national development initiatives.

He expressed appreciation to the leadership of the City Boy Movement, including its Director-General, Hon. Francis Shoga, for the confidence reposed in him, and pledged to mobilise and coordinate youths across Niger State in line with the objectives of the organisation.

Limateef also acknowledged the support and mentorship of Mr. Seyi Tinubu, noting that youth engagement remains central to national development efforts.

According to him, youths in Niger State continue to support the Federal Government’s development agenda, citing recent government interventions and engagements in the state.

He referenced President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s visit to Niger State for the inauguration of the Food Security and Agricultural Mechanisation Programme, as well as the commissioning of modern agricultural equipment under the administration of Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago.

Limateef also mentioned the remodelling and commissioning of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport in Minna, alongside emergency response interventions by the Federal Government, as notable developments in the state.

He further acknowledged the donation of ₦1 billion by the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, through the Renewed Hope Initiative to victims of the flood disaster in Mokwa Local Government Area.

The Niger State Director also referenced youth-focused engagements under the Renewed Hope Youth Engagement Initiative, particularly outreach activities held in Minna, which he said have encouraged greater youth participation in governance.

Limateef assured that the City Boy Movement in Niger State would continue to engage young people through dialogue and development-oriented initiatives aimed at fostering unity and civic responsibility.
