‘Lonely At The Top’ becomes Nigeria’s all-time longest #1 song
Nigerian superstar Asake’s ‘Lonely At The Top’ has achieved the remarkable feat of being the longest-running number 1 on TurnTable Top 100, Nigeria’s sole chart system that consolidates data from radio, TV and streaming platforms.
Following an unprecedented one-year run in 2022, Asake extended his dominance with the release of his sophomore album ‘Work of Art’ which delivered multiple chart-topping singles and heralded his monumental performance at the iconic 02 Arena.
The mid-tempo record which touches on the loneliness and distrust that comes from success, logged a 12th non-consecutive week at the summit of the chart which makes it the longest NO. 1 song since TurnTable started aggregating data in 2019.
