Kunle Afolayan confirms debut of epic film ‘Anikulapo’

Nigerian actor and film producer, Kunle Afolayan has hinted that his epic film ‘Anikulapo’ will hit the big screens in September.

According to the filmmaker, who made this known in a teaser he shared via his Instagram handle on Tuesday.

“Exclusive. Anikulapo is launching on @naijaonnetflix on the 30th of September,” he captioned.

The movie which will stream on Netflix on the 30th of September is coming after Afolayan announced its principal photography in February in Oyo state.

Starring Kunle Remi in the lead role, ‘Anikulapo’ follows a young man’s quest for greener pastures in the ancient Oyo kingdom.

The epic is set to star Sola Sobowale, Bimbo Ademoye, Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Taiwo ‘Ogogo’ Hassan, Aisha Lawal amongst others.
