The new Medical Director of Federal Neuro Psychiatric Hospital (FNPH) Kware in Sokoto state, Dr Sulaiman Baguda, has charged workers in the hospital to live up to the expectations on providing efficient services to citizens.

Dr Baguda gave the charge during his first meeting with hospital workers after assuming the office as the substantive medical director on Thursday.

He described efficiency, delivery, and professionalism as the best instruments of achieving success and called on workers to improve themselves with the modern skills in their respective departments.

He urged the Head of Departments (HODs) to work with their subordinates, stressing that whatever happens within their respective departments was a reflection of their stewardship and capacity.

Baguda urged the staff members to rise above all challenges they face in their service areas, noting that the hospital would remain a referral point on healthcare delivery.

He assured them of his maximum support at all times so that the hospital could surpass its present achievements through meaningful engagements.

“This is with a view to aligning ideas and directions that would result in positive high-impact changes on how the facility delivers medical services to Nigerians.

” The hospital serves as research, training and providing health services to all categories of peoples, especially mental healthcare,” Baguda said.

The Medical Director, who was in acting capacity, was confirmed by President Bola Tunubu as substantive Medical Director in November.
