Microsoft To Invest $2.1 billion in Spain AI infrastructure

Microsoft Vice Chair and President, Brad Smith has announced $2.1 billion investment to expand its artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud infrastructure in Spain over the next two years. Smith said in a post on twitter.

The move comes after the announcement the of 3.2 billion euros ($3.45 billion) investment focused on AI in Germany over the next two years.

At the core of Microsoft’s investment lies a vision to spearhead Spain’s digital transformation journey.

Beyond merely enhancing cloud and AI capabilities, this initiative seeks to foster a culture of innovation and digital literacy across the nation.
