Minister of Works Inspects Southwest Roads

Nigeria’s Minister of Works, David Umahi, has begun an inspection trip throughout the country’s south-western area, beginning with Lagos State.

This is part of the Minister’s plan for a road inspection tour in Nigeria.

The Minister paid a visit to Victoria Island’s outer Marina Road, which was built under the Federal Government’s SUKUK funding option.

He then proceeded to the recently rehabilitated Eko Bridge, where he was briefed by officials from the ministries and contractors in charge of the project.

The Lagos-Ibadan Motorway, the restored Apapa-Oshodi Motorway, Deep Sea Ports, and other Federal Government projects on the Lagos-Ogun corridor are also included.
