Moses Sule Emerges Plateau State House Of Assembly Speaker

Moses Sule of the People’s Democratic Party representing Mikan State constituency has emerged speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly in North Central Nigeria

While Fom Gwotson of Jos South State Constituency emerged as the Deputy speaker.

They both emerged in a voice vote on Tuesday at the State House of Assembly.

Honorable sule after taking his oath of office in his inaugural speech, appreciated his colleagues’ support, which saw him emerge as the speaker. He said the members had given him responsibility which he promised not to fail and called for their support to succeed.

After performing his first responsibility of supervising the swearing-in of all the other members of the house by affirmation. He called on all members to work together irrespective of party affiliation for the growth of the State. He said under his leadership there shall be no rancor or division.

In the 24-members of the Plateau State House of Assembly, the People’s Democratic Party has a Majority of 16, All Progressives Congress 7 and Young people’s party 2

The Inauguration was well attended by Friends, Political Associates and well-wishers of the Lawmakers.
