Women groups supporting the Peoples Democratic Party in Nasarawa State have vowed to continue their ongoing peaceful protests until justice is served.
The party’s women leader, Mrs. Stella Oboshi, stated this while briefing Journalists at the PDP headquarters in Lafia, the state capital.
She said the women groups were not happy with the conduct and the declaration of the gubernatorial election announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission which saw the re-election of Governor Abdullahi Sule, who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress.

Oboshi further said from the results available on the INEC’s results checking portal, iREV the PDP governorship candidate, David Ombugadu won the election with a landslide and therefore deserves to be declared the winner of the poll.
“Our protest will continue until justice is served to the people of Nasarawa state. No intimidation will deter us from doing the right thing”.
“We call on the Nigerian Judicial system to be upright in their justice delivery system because we know that the PDP candidate won the election,” she added.
