Nasarawa Speaker revalidates APC membership, kicks against discrimination

The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Mr. Balarabe Abdullahi on Tuesday revalidated his All Progressives Congress (APC) membership at Galadima B polling unit of Umaisha ward, Toto Local Government Area of the state.

Mr. Abdullahi while revalidating his APC membership, advised those involved in the registration and revalidation exercise not to discriminate against people who might want to join the party as well as among APC members.

The speaker said that with the registration exercise, it would give a lot of Nigerians who are not yet 18 years when the last exercise was held in 2014 as well as people who defected from other political parties an opportunities to register with the APC.

APC is for all Nigerians, I advise that anyone that want to register should be given the opportunity, there should be no discrimination. Don’t say this person belong to this camp or the other camp.

“First and foremost, I want to congratulate myself for my successful revalidation and to thank the APC leadership for coming out with this very important exercise.

“As the present exercise will give an opportunity to those who are not up till 18 years when the last registration was held in 2014 an opportunity to register.

“It will also give an opportunity to those that defected from other political parties to register with the party.

“I am also commending His Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule for supporting the party as well as to ensure the implementation of this exercise in the state,” he said.

The Speaker also assured of his people resolved to continue to support APC led administration to succeed.

Toto Local Government is home of APC in Nasarawa State and will continue to remain the home of APC in the state.

“As I want to assure that the local government by God’s grace will deliver APC in all future elections from the position of President to down ward,” He added.

He urged the people of the area to conduct themselves peacefully and cooperate with the officials of the registration in order to ensure the success of the exercise in the area.
