Management of Nasarawa United Football Club Lafia has commended the governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, for his financial and moral support to the Team.
Chairman of the Club, Dr Othman Ahmed gave the commendation at a Press Briefing to appreciate the Governor for his massive support during the Solid Miners match against Zamfara United in Lafia.
He noted that the governor’s unwavering support and encouragement would propel the Team to perform better in the ongoing NNL season.
While calling for the sustenance of the support, Dr. Ahmed assured that the target of the Management is the return of Solid Miners back to the Nigeria Premier Football League next season.

He appreciated critical sport stakeholders and fans of the Club for their prayers and support urging them to see the Club as a Nasarawa project which require the support of all.
Technical Adviser of Nasarawa United, Usman Adams gave assurances of the club’s desire to play in the elite league next season.
Ahead of the team’s second league match against EFCC FC of Abuja, Coach Adams is optimistic of getting the maximum three points.
