Nasarawa United FC Signs Six New Players

Nasarawa United Football Club (FC) has signed six new players in preparation for the 2022/2023 Nigeria professional football league (NPFL) season.

In a press statement by the Nasarawa United FC, Media Officer, Mr. Eche Amos, the signing of the new players took place on Friday at the club’s house in Lafia, the state capital.

He said the list includes three new players, two goalkeepers, and a former player.

The new signings are Sulaiman Jamilu, an attacker from Niger Tornadoes FC of Minna; right full-back, Victor Dennis, from Plateau United FC; central defender, Benjamin Fredrick, from ABS FC of Ilorin, Kwara State, Yinka David and Jerry Isaac both goalkeepers from Niger Tornadoes FC of Minna and Mountain of Fire and Miracles Centre Football Club, MFM FC, of Lagos, respectively.

“Homeboy and attacker, Anas Yusuf, returned to the Solid Miners’ squad following a spell with Wikki Tourists FC of Bauchi last term.

“The squad numbers of the new signings will be confirmed in due course,” Amos said.

According to Amos, a few more players would be signed in the coming days to solidify the squad.

He noted that the team had already lined up some graded pre-season games to blend the new acquisitions with existing players and also keep them in fine form ahead of the new league season.
