The Dutch government has pledged continued support for technology-driven solutions aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s border control systems and enhancing migration management.
Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Kemi Nandap, disclosed this in Abuja during a visit by a Dutch delegation led by the Chargé D’Affaires of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Nigeria, Mr. Jurgen Bartelink.

According to a statement by NIS spokesperson, Akinsola Akinlabi, the high-level strategic meeting focused on deepening migration cooperation between the two countries.
She added that the visit, a follow-up to the CGIS’s earlier trip to the Netherlands, highlighted enhanced bilateral collaboration on migration governance, capacity-building, and the formal handover of key operational tools—including the Edison software license keys and the Passport Examination Programme Manual (PEPM III APP].
