NiDCOM Boss Celebrates Kolade-Otitoju at 60

The Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has congratulated veteran journalist, Babajide Kolade-Otitoju on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

In a statement issued by the Commission’s Head of Media, Public Relations and Protocols, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, Dabiri-Erewa described Kolade-Otitoju as a focused and purposeful media professional whose contribution to journalism have remained impactful over the years.

She commended his dedication to national service, noting his depth of knowledge in public and current affairs, as well as his consistent advocacy for national unity and social integration.

Kolade-Otitoju, who serves as Director of News and Current Affairs at Television Continental (TVC), is widely known for his forthright analysis on national issues, particularly through his role on the popular programme, Journalists’ Hangout.

His insights, according to Dabiri-Erewa, have significantly enriched public discourse on key national questions.

The NiDCOM boss offered prayers for continued divine guidance, good health, and longevity for the media veteran as he continues his patriotic service to the nation.

Kolade-Otitoju turns 60 on March 30, marking a milestone in a distinguished career in Nigerian journalism.
