Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) has congratulated Prince Nnamdi Ekeh, Chief Executive Officer of the Konga Group, on receiving two prestigious global recognition, the Forbes Best of Africa E-Commerce Leadership Award 2025 and the Distinguished EuroKnowledge Award for Emerging Leadership in Digital Transformation.

The Chairman of the Commission, Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, in a congratulatory message issued by the Commission’s Director of Media, Public Relations, and Protocols, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, described Ekeh’s achievements as a proud moment for Nigeria and a testament to the innovation and leadership excellence of young Nigerians driving Africa’s digital transformation.

She highlighted that Ekeh’s recognition reinforces Nigeria’s growing reputation as a hub for tech-driven entrepreneurship and innovation.

Prince Nnamdi Ekeh, who led the strategic acquisition of Konga in 2018 from global investors Naspers and Kinnevik, successfully merged it with Yudala to create Africa’s first true omnichannel e-commerce platform.

Under his leadership, Konga has evolved into a diversified business ecosystem spanning KongaPay (fintech), Konga Logistics, Konga Health, and Konga Travel & Tours.

Today, the company serves over four million customers and a merchant network of about 250,000 across Nigeria.

Dabiri-Erewa praised Ekeh’s vision of “building commercial scale with a social soul,” noting that his work transcends business to impact national development, youth empowerment, and technological inclusion.

She further urged young Nigerians to take inspiration from his journey, one marked by innovation, integrity, and purpose-driven leadership.
