Niger state Governor commends security for repelling bandit’s attack

Niger State Governor in North Central Nigeria , Abubakar Sani Bello has commended the efforts of the security personnel in Kundu village, Rafi Local Government Area of the State for repelling attack by armed bandits on Saturday.

The Governor made  the commendation when he visited the security camp at Kundu Community to commiserate with the security personnel  on the recent attacks which claimed the lived of two policeman and Ten bandits,

The Governor who was impressed with the gallant effort  by the security agents, assured  to support family members of the slain personnel, pointed out that his government will do its’ best to reduce the rate of insecurity to the barest minimum.

“No place is 100 percent safe but we will do whatever it takes to bring back relative peace. We are investing in security equipments and other logistics to help in the fight and to reduce casualty,” he said.

Some members of the Kundu community however commended the gallant effort of the security team for repealing the bandits.

They however called on the government for reinforcement in the area due to constant banditry activities in the area.
