Covid-19: Nigeria confirms 203 new cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 203 new Covid-19 infections, bringing the total number of infections to 166,518.

It also reports 158,781 Discharged and 2,099 Deaths since the outbreak of the virus in the country.

The Health Agency made the announcement via its Official Twitter page, @NCDCgov,  on Monday, May 31st, 2021.

It shows the breakdown of the new cases as follows; Benue-178, Lagos-10, Ondo-6,  FCT-4, Kaduna-4 and Plateau-1.

The NCDC noted that its report for May 31st, included a backlog of data from Benue and Nasarawa States recorded from February to May 2021.
