Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar has extended congratulations to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chadians Abroad and International Cooperation of the Republic of Chad, Mahamat Saleh Annadif on the occasion of the Independence Anniversary of Chad.
“As Chad marks the joyous anniversary of sovereignty and progress, Nigeria joins in celebrating the remarkable resilience, unity, and commitment to patriotic leadership, which have continued to define the Chadian people. The longstanding bilateral relations between our two brotherly nations, anchored on shared history, cultural affinity and cooperation, remain a source of pride and a pillar of friendship and solidarity within the Lake Chad Basin, the West African subregion, and across the African continent,” he said.
Amb. Tuggar reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to deepening collaboration with the Republic of Chad in all areas of mutual interest, particularly in trade, security, education, and regional integration, under the frameworks of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the African Union (AU).
“We commend Chad’s steadfast contributions to peace, stability, and development in the region, especially under the umbrella of the Multilateral Joint Task Force, and look forward to the continued strengthening of our bonds for the prosperity of our peoples,” he added.
