Nigeria urges citizens to enhance national image via rebranding

The Director of Information of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Segun Imohiosen, has urged Nigerians Citizens to place priority on rebranding the image of the country.
He said this could be achieved through positive attitudes for the country to solidify her place as a giant in the committee of nations.

Imohiosen gave the advice on Thursday, when he received delegates from the Unveiling and Rebranding Initiative. An NGO, led by its Program Coordinator, Mr Abdulkadir Lawal, in Abuja.
According to him, Nigerians owes it as patriotic citizens to change the negative narratives that other countries have about Nigerians.
“Nigerians are responsible and good people and all hands must be on deck to make Nigeria more attractive for the world to see her great potential.”
Imohiosen commended the NGO for its contributions towards projecting and moulding the good image of the country, urging members of the Initiative to do more for the overall benefit of the country.

On his remarks, the Program Coordinator of the Initiative, Mr Abdulkadir Lawal thanked Imohiosen for the support, saying that his organisation has always seen Nigeria as a model for the world.

Lawal described Nigerians as good people and the country as a great nation which deserve a rightful place in the international community.

He added that the initiative would continue to do all within its powers to continue rebranding the image of the country.

According to him, our organisation will ensure that Nigerians inculcate good values capable of cementing Nigeria as a giant globally.
