Nigeria’s Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Matawalle, is representing the nation at the 15th Edition of the Latin America Aerospace and Defence (LAAD), a Defence & Security Exhibition 2025, taking place in Brazil.

LAAD Defence & Security is the premier defence and security exhibition in Latin America that brings together Ministers of Defence, Chiefs of Defence Staff, senior military officers, and key Defence and security stakeholders across the globe.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Personal Assistant to the Minister of State for Defence on Media, Ahmad Dan-Wudil.

The 15th edition of the largest and most important Defense and Security Trade Show in Latin America captures Defense and Security on all fronts, including the Navy, Army, Air Force, Public and Corporate Security.

The event affords participating countries an opportunity to exhibit their industrial production chain at national and international levels of defense and security, major public security institutions, and the International Symposium on Military Logistics.

Nigeria has been fine-tuning ways to tackle security challenges and the over a decade-long war against insurgency. The exhibition allows the country to see firsthand security innovations and technological advancements that would help fortify its security forces against these challenges.
