Nigeria Reaffirms Commitment to Completion of Infrastructure Projects

The Federal Government of Nigeria has reaffirmed its commitment to the completion of critical infrastructure projects across the country under the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmad Tinubu.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement for the North West Zone, Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai, gave the assurance during an inspection visit to the Katsina-Kano Dual Carriageway project in Katsina State.

Speaking during the inspection, Yakasai disclosed that the project has received full approval and adequate funding, stressing that the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains resolute in ensuring the completion of all priority infrastructure projects nationwide.

He described the Katsina-Kano road as a strategic economic corridor that will enhance transportation, promote trade, and improve safety for road users upon completion.

The presidential aide commended the level of work on the project and urged the contractors to maintain quality standards while ensuring timely delivery.

Yakasai further assured residents of Katsina State and the wider North West region of the Federal Government’s continued commitment to infrastructure development that supports economic growth and improves the living standards of the people.

The inspection visit forms part of ongoing efforts by the Presidency to monitor project execution and ensure value for public funds.
