Nigerian Civil Defense intercepts adulterated Diesel Tanker in Niger State

Niger State Command of Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps in North central Nigeria has intercepted a trailer tanker suspected to be containing adulterated diesel in Suleja area of the state.
The State Commandant, Haruna Bala Zurmi stated this while parading two suspects in Minna the state who were arrested conveying the product claimed to have been loaded from Port Harcourt n Rivers state South South part of the country.
The 2 suspects the driver, Salisu Idris 45 years, and Bashir Mohammed 25 years could not present the required documents needed for transporting fuel across states , but presented a paper issued one year ago 12th August, 2020.
“Laboratory taste on the sample of the product has been directed and the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded“. added Commandant Zurmi
He however warned the public to desist from such illegal acts and dealings in petroleum product or face the wrath of the law as the command will not relent in its mandates.
