Nigerian delegates attend World News Media Congress in Spain

Nigerian delegates are participating in the 73rd World News Media Congress in Zaragoza, Spain.

The congress attended by professionals from Academia was led by the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University Kashere in Gombe state, Professor Umaru Pate.

The annual congress is a gathering of the world’s press sponsored by the Mac Arthur Foundation with clear objectives to protect the rights of journalists and publishers worldwide towards operating independent media.

The 3- day congress which is being attended by leading news organizations across the globe would reflect on the journalism industry, strategies and proffer solutions towards media sustainability around the world.

Other issues to be discussed include; The Challenges of media in post-Covid-19, the Ukraine/Russia war, Evolving Public Relations, News Media Relations and Media Strategies for media organizations to run their Industry with Profit despite the enormous challenges posed by the new media.

The outcome of the 73rd congress of the world news media will likely be on Friday at the end of the 3-day gathering in Zaragoza, Spain.

The World News Media Congress is the most important annual gathering of news media leaders and has been so since 1948.
