Nigerian Leader Mourns Late Justice Mukhtar Dodo

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Justice Mukhtar Muhammad Dodo (rtd.), who passed away on Sunday at the age of 70.
The President, in a statement issued by his Spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, paid tribute to the late jurist’s long and distinguished career in the Nigerian judiciary, noting his remarkable service as Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court and later as a High Court Judge of the Federal Capital Territory.
President Tinubu described Justice Dodo as an upright judicial officer, a patriotic Nigerian, and a fearless jurist who dedicated his life to strengthening the nation’s justice system through integrity and professionalism.
He prayed for the repose of the late Justice’s soul and for divine comfort for his family, the government, and the people of Katsina State.
