President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commissioned a series of developmental projects in Kaduna State, underscoring his administration’s broad-based agenda for infrastructure expansion, healthcare improvement, skills development, and economic empowerment.

On Thursday, the President inaugurated the Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development, with facilities located in Rigachikun, Soba, and Samaru Kataf.

These centres were established by the Kaduna State Government under Governor Uba Sani’s administration as part of a broader human capital development policy aimed at transforming Kaduna into a national skills hub.

In the company of the state governor and some key government officials, as well as chieftains of the All Progressives Congress party, President Tinubu also commissioned a 300-bed hospital, the 24 km Kafanchan township road, the Tudun biri road, 22 km road linking Kauru and Kubau local government areas of the state.

The facility is part of the state government’s broader commitment to revamping health infrastructure across all zones.

Additionally, President Tinubu unveiled 100 compressed natural gas (CNG) buses to modernise Kaduna’s public transportation system, reflecting the administration’s focus on infrastructure development, healthcare delivery, youth empowerment, and economic growth.

The commissioning of the hospital, roads, and vocational centres in Kaduna State underscores a strategic push to enhance healthcare services, improve transportation infrastructure, and empower youth through skills development, thereby promoting sustainable socio-economic growth in the state.
