The Nigerian Railway Corporation has commenced test-bookings on the NRC E-ticketing platform, starting with the Abuja-Kaduna rail line.
The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi made this known via his official Twitter handle @ChibuikeAmaechi on Wednesday.

The development comes after the federal government announced plans to switch to e-ticketing in September 2019.
The Director-General, Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission, Engr Chidi Izuwa, had said that the automated ticketing platform is expected to hit N16 billion in the next ten years.
