Nigerian Railway Introduces Apapa-Kajola Express Train

The Nigerian Railway Corporation, NRC intends to Introduce a Mass Transit express passenger Train code-named Apapa Express between Apapa and Kajola on the Standard Gauge Railway Line soon.

 

The express passenger train is part of the Federal Government’s palliative majors to cushion the effect of the petroleum subsidy removal to the barest minimum on the citizenry.

 

This was disclosed by the Director of Operations of the Corporation, Mr Akin Osinowo on behalf of the Managing Director Engr. Fidet Okhiria.

 

According to him, the stopping stations for the Apapa Express Train include Mobolaji Johnson, Agege, Agbado and finally Kajola.

 

He further stated that the train service will surely reduce the hardship experienced by commuters, especially those plying the Apapa to the Kajola route.

 

Mr Osinowo therefore, appealed to the valued passengers to ensure that they obtain tickets at the designated stations before boarding the train.
