Super Eagles of Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen, has completed a move to Turkish champions Galatasaray in a deal worth €75 million from Serie A side Napoli.
Osimhen, 26, touched down in Istanbul on Wednesday evening to a glorious welcome from thousands of Galatasaray fans who trooped to the airport to celebrate his return.
Galatasaray confirmed Osimhen’s signing via social media posts that included footage of his arrival and images from the airport.
Osimhen previously spent the 2024/2025 season on loan at Galatasaray, where his performances convinced the club’s management to push for a permanent transfer after claiming the Turkish League and the Turkish Cup.

The deal with SSC Napoli is reported to be structured around an initial €40 million payment this summer, with a further €35 million due in 2026. An additional €5 million in performance-related bonuses brings the total package to €75 million.
Osimhen, who helped Napoli to a Serie A title in 2023, leaves Italy as one of the most sought-after forwards in Europe. His move to Galatasaray marks a significant coup for the Istanbul club as they prepare for a new campaign both domestically and in Europe.
