Nigerians will today, Saturday decide who will be their President for the next four years.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC had cleared 18 candidates to participate in the Presidential election with four candidates qualifying as frontrunners.
These are Bola Tinubu of the All Progrssives Congress, APC, Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP, and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’ Party, NNPP.
Their fates would be decided by a total of 93,469,008 registered voters across the 36 States of the country and the Federal Capital Territory.
According to INEC, generally, 44, 414,846 registered voters are female and 49,054,162 are males of the total registered voters.
It says, the young people between the ages of 18 and 34 stood at 37,060,399, representing 39.65% of total registered voters while the elderly between the ages of 50 and 69 stood at 17,700,270 representing 18.94% of the total registered voters.
The citizens will also vote in their preferred candidates in the National Assembly.
