Nigeria’s Top TV Series, ‘Village Headmaster’ Returns To Screen

Nigeria’s iconic family television drama series, the Village headmaster is set to make a screen re-launch on Sunday, the 24th of April, 2022.

This was disclosed in Abuja on Friday by the Director General of the Nigeria Television Authority, Mr Yakubu Ibn Mohammed during the official re-launch of the top T.V sitcom.

The NTA DG who applauded Ace TV production outfit, Wale Adenuga Productions and Nigerian Telecom giants Globacom for an effective partnership in the return of the production to the screens, promised that the NTA will deliver on its part.

 

Mr.Ibn Mohammed said after about 34 years hiatus, at exactly 8pm Nigerian time  on Sunday, 24th of April, the Village headmaster drama series will hit the Nigerian Television screens.This will indeed bring nostalgic feeling
among the teaming fans of the popular series,he added.

The DG revealed how the NTA and the other stakeholders stratergised  and agreed to bring the iconic drama series back to the screens.

He said just like it did in the days of old,the village headmaster’s renewed series is set to captivate, educate and entertain the viewers once again.

One of the master minds of the return of the top drama series amd Ace TV producer,Wale Adenuga said the return of the sitcom is laced with the same addiction and memory.
He said the production concept ensures that every episode is grip with excitement, fun and lessons to learn.
The Village headmaster was the first major TV drama series since Nigeria’s independence amd ran on screens until 1984.

 

The first series after the official re launch comes up on Sunday,24th April at 8pm on NTA, then AIT and WAP tv production have  separate date and time respectively.
