The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, has assured residents of the ancient commercial city that the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP)-led government in the State will be fair to all, regardless of political affiliations.
Gwarzo congratulated the Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf; the National Leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso; and other Muslim faithful in the State on the celebration of the Eid-el-Kabir festival, insisting that “their administration will be fair to everybody.”
“I urge the people of the State to support the administration of Governor Kabir.
“As Muslims worldwide celebrate the festival, it is a time to be cheerful givers by sharing with the less privileged and their loved ones,” Gwarzo said in a statement issued by his Press Secretary, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu.
Gwarzo, who is also Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, called on the believers of the Islamic religion to use the festival to pray for Nigeria, particularly about security and the economy.
