
Nasarawa United FC were held to a 0-0 draw by the visiting Ikorodu City FC in a match day 24 fixture of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The match at the Lafia Township Stadium, was played behind closed doors.
Both sides created scoring opportunities throughout the game, but the draw was a testament to a strong defensive display by both sides.
Although Nasarawa United have struggled at home, they managed to hold off Ikorodu City’s attacks and secure a valuable point.
Speaking at the post-match interview, the Head Coach of Ikorodu FC, Nurudeen Aweroro, expressed satisfaction with the performance of his boys despite the draw.
He said that his boys had played to instructions and expressed confidence to do better in the subsequent games to move up the top of the NPFL table.
