Rivers United captain Nyima Nwagua displayed brilliant form in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match against Doma United, scoring a hat-trick to secure a 3-2 victory in style, at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt on Sunday.

The home side opened the scoring in the seventh minute when Doma United goalkeeper Kingdom Osayi could only palm Alex Oyowah’s attempt back into play, which allowed Nwagua to finish off for the opening goal.

In the 32nd minute, a defensive error by Rivers United allowed Owoku to fire past goalkeeper Abiodun Akande to make the scores 1-1.
