The Director General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), Mr Yusuf Buba Yakub, has called on all Nigerians to continue supporting the development initiatives outlined in President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at advancing the nation.
In his message celebrating Nigeria’s Independence Day, which he personally signed and released to the media in Abuja, the DG expressed confidence that Nigeria is in capable hands and emphasised the importance of prayers and support for President Tinubu’s administration.
“Today, we honour Nigeria’s vibrant heritage, diversity, and resilience,” Mr Yakub remarked.
“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, the President, on this significant occasion. At NTAC, we recognise the administration’s efforts in implementing reforms designed to foster the growth and development of our nation, particularly through initiatives such as the 4-D foreign policy and the Renewed Hope Agenda, which focus on national rebirth, economic transformation, and shared prosperity.” The DG said
Mr Buba Yakub urged Nigerians to rally around President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which he believes lays the groundwork for a brighter future.
“This agenda is a symbol of hope for our nation’s destiny. I encourage every Nigerian to remain faithful in these plans and work collaboratively to leverage our shared skills and resources to foster progress and development.” Mr. Yakubu emphasized
The DG also paid tribute to the bravery and sacrifices of the Armed Forces, acknowledging their relentless efforts to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty and ensure peace. “Their unwavering commitment reflects the strength and resilience of our great nation,” he stated.
Highlighting NTAC’s mission, Mr Yakub expressed gratitude to the diplomatic community for partnering with the agency to promote Nigeria’s technical expertise and development diplomacy. “Through NTAC, we have successfully deployed over 10,000 technical experts to more than 40 countries, strengthening institutional capacities, fostering people-to-people connections, and enhancing Nigeria’s reputation on the global stage. As we look ahead, let us remain dedicated to nation-building and collaborate to forge a better future for ourselves and generations to come,” the DG concluded.
