NWFL Premiership Embarks On Two-Week Christmas Break
In the spirit of the holiday season, the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) have announced a Christmas break for the 2023/2024 NWFL Premiership season, following a thrilling Match day 6 fixtures.
The NWFL Premiership is set to resume action on January 10th, 2024, promising a renewed dose of excitement and spirited competition as teams vie for a spot at the Super Six finals of the Nigeria Women Football League Premiership.
NWFL Chairman Nkechi Obi and her board, extend heartfelt wishes to the remarkable players, the dedicated club management and the fervent fans whose unwavering support has been integral to the league’s resounding success so far.
“It’s been quite an eventful first half of the Premiership Season,” Obi said. “As we take a break for the holiday season, let me on behalf of the NWFL wish you all a Merry Christmas. Enjoy your holiday.”
