The management of the National Youth Service Corps NYSC has commended the 8 Division of the Nigerian Army for prioritizing the protection of Corps Members, NYSC Camps and other facilities in its Areas of Responsibility.
The Director General of the agency, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim gave the commendation during a courtesy visit to the Division’s Headquarters in Sokoto state, North West Nigeria.
The DG stated that the Army had remained a pillar and dependable partner of the Scheme since inception.
He therefore expressed commitment to further strengthening the cordial relationship between the Scheme and the Nigerian Army.
Responding, on behalf of the General Officer Commanding, Major General UU Bassey, the Division’s Chief of Staff, Brigadier General MA Abdullahi, thanked the Director-General for the visit, and assured him that their support for NYSC would be sustained. Picture below:
