The President of Nigeria, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari will on Thursday confer a President’s National Youth Service Corps, NYSC Honours Award on 110 Ex-Corps Members of the 2018/2019 Service Years that distinguished themselves in the course of national service in the areas of; ORIENTATION COURSE, PRIMARY ASSIGNMENT, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICE AND WINDING UP/PASSING-OUT at the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa Abuja, Nigeria.
According to a statement by the Chairman,Protocol and Publicity committee, Mr Emeka Mgbemena,
The President would preside over the meeting virtually from his office.
The event shall be conducted virtually, and all stakeholders shall be given a link to attend, he said.
Mr. Mgbemena also said, this is one of the numerous avenues by which the scheme has been rewarding excellent performance of Corps Members that distinguished themselves by providing developmental projects that would benefit their host communities while serving.
