NYSC sympathise with injured Corps members

The  Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps NYSC,  Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim has commiserated  with injured Corps Members who were admitted  at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH), Kwara State, South West Nigeria.

 

The injured corps members were involved  in a road traffic accident which occurred  along Mokwa Road while they were on their way to NYSC Orientation Camp for the 2021 Batch ‘A’  Stream One Orientation Course.

 

General Ibrahim while  commiserating with the Corps Members, prayed God  to grant them speedy recovery.

 

He also commended them for their patriotic zeal  which was demonstrated in their prompt response to the clarion call as he assured them that the Management would continue to accord their welfare the deserved attention.

 

“I commend your patriotic zeal towards your fatherland by obeying the clarion call, and l assure you that we won’t leave you,” the Director-General said.

 

He thanked the Management of the UITH for the timely and quality treatment given to the Corps Members.

 

The Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee of the Hospital Dr. L. O. Odeigah, who conducted the Director-General round the wards, explained that the Corps Members were responding to treatment, explaining that they would continue to receive the best care possible in the facility.

 

The Director-General was accompanied by his wife, Mrs  Ibrahim, and the NYSC Kwara State Coordinator, Mrs Fransisca Olaleye.
