The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has expressed readiness to strengthen its existing collaboration with the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC).
It said the CLTC has been a critical partner in the success of its orientation course activities over the years.
The NYSC Director General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, disclosed this when he hosted the new Director General of the CLTC, Rinsola Abiola, who paid him a courtesy visit at the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters in Maitama, Abuja.

General Nafiu, while congratulating Abiola on her appointment, said the scheme cherished the existing synergy between both agencies.
He added that NYSC would offer every necessary assistance to enable the CLTC management to achieve its mandate.
Speaking earlier, the Director General of CLTC described NYSC as a great partner, adding that she was ready to sustain the relationship with the scheme and build on the gains recorded by her predecessor.
While reflecting on her memories of youth service days in Enugu State, Abiola lauded NYSC’s position on youth engagement, empowerment, and reorientation, which serve as veritable tools for the success of CLTC programmes.
