“Wizkid was the first big star to post my song in Nigeria. He shared Picanto… Then, after I released Declan Rice, he posted it as well, and there’s even a video of him vibing to the track.”
Wizkid’s endorsement brought massive attention to OdumoduBlvck’s music, helping him transition from relative obscurity to stardom. Declan Rice, named after the England and Arsenal footballer, became an instant hit.

Speaking on Davido’s influence in his early career, OdumoduBlvck acknowledged that the five-time Grammy nominee extended his support despite having no obligation to do so.
“David (Davido) is someone who helped me when he didn’t need to. So there’s no way I will say anything bad about him even if I have the chance to”.
In the interview, the rapper addressed rumors that he was disappointed about not being featured on Wizkid’s latest album, Morayo. OdumoduBlvck dismissed the speculation, stating that it would be absurd to be upset over not appearing on another artist’s album—especially someone like Wizkid, who has played a role in his success.
Since breaking into the mainstream in 2023, OdumoduBlvck has ascended to the top of the Nigerian music scene, establishing himself as one of its most consistent hitmakers.
His album EZIOKWU achieved massive commercial success, cementing its place as one of the most successful Nigerian hip-hop albums of the digital era.
The rapper is now gearing up to release a new album in 2025, titled Industry Machine.
