Osun State Governor and candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adegboyega Oyetola has called on his supporters to remain calm and urged the people of the State to go about their businesses without hindrance.
The Governor made the call in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan on Sunday.
He also called on security operatives to ensure the maintenance of law and order. He, therefore, directed security operatives to take adequate charge to prevent the breakdown of law and order.

Speaking on the just concluded election, Omipidan stated that the Osun Governor has taken cognisance of the results of the governorship election in the State as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Sunday.
He, however, noted that the party would be responding appropriately after studying the results and consulting with critical stakeholders of the party.
It would be recalled that Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party defeated the incumbent Governor Adeboyega Oyetola in the just concluded election held on Saturday.
The Returning Officer Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe who is also the Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos had on Sunday returned Adeleke, having scored the required number of votes and in fulfilment of the extant laws.
