Oyo State Government Organizes Leadership Retreat for Political Office Holders

The Oyo State Government has kicked off a three-day leadership retreat organized for political office holders in the state.
The Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Prince Dotun Oyelade, in a press statement, on Tuesday disclosed that the 2023 edition would be the third of the yearly leadership retreat since the first tenure of the Governor Seyi Makinde-led administration, the first one being in 2019.
According to Oyelade, the theme of the Omituntun 2.0 leadership retreat to be declared open by Governor Seyi Makinde, on Wednesday morning, is ‘Adaptive Leadership Strategies in an Uncertain Time’.
The retreat will be held at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Ibadan, the state capital.
Some of the topics to be treated include Adaptive Leadership Strategies; Procedures, Ethics and Ethos within Government Establishment;  Building a Sustainable Structure for Implementation, Internal Monitoring and Evaluation; Securing an Enduring Legacy in and out of Office; and Information Management within the System.
Some of the speakers include the MD/CEO, First Bank of Nigeria, Dr. Sola Adeduntan; the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Olanike Adeyemo; the Head of Service, Mrs Olubunmi Oni; and the Commissioners for Finance; Budget and Planning; Justice; and Information and Orientation, among others.
