“Palm Sunday marks the beginning of holy week which is also known as passion week, it is the week with which Jesus Christ was crucified, dead and buried for the salvation of mankind. That is the selfless service we are talking about”, Bishop Nwegu added.
He urged all Nigeria leaders to emulate the selfless nature of Jesus Christ in their service delivery.
Also one of the Senior Reverends in the Diocese, Reverend Uche Daniel said the insecurity in the Country today is as a result of selfishness in some of the leaders.
“If we can exhibit selflessness, we can correct many anomalies and our society will be better for living”. Reverend Uchenna said.
