The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has congratulated one of its stalwarts, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, on her victory and swearing-in as the senator representing Kogi-Central at the National Assembly.

It would be recalled that Akpoti-Uduaghan had been in a legal tussle with her opponent, Senator Abubakar Ohere of the All Progressives Congress (APC), over the February 25 senatorial election in Kogi-Central.

In a congratulatory message, the 2023 presidential candidate of the PDP and former Vice-President, Alh. Atiku Abubakar commended her courage.

“Her hard fight to reclaim her seat in the Senate tells of her remarkable character,” he said, describing Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan as an excellent example of a woman in politics.

The former National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan, described the newly sworn-in senator as an amazon.

Senator Dino Melaye, the PDP’s governorship candidate in the forthcoming November 11 off-cycle guber election in Kogi State, also congratulated Akpoti-Uduaghan.
