PDP Takes Rescue Mission To Nasarawa State

Former Minister of Information and the Director General Atiku /Ombugadu campaign organisation in Nasarawa State, Mr. Labaran Maku, says  the People Democratic Party, PDP is on a rescue mission.

Maku stated this during a media dialogue in the Karu local government area of the state.

He said that PDP would return to power both at the national and State in 2023.

Maku noted that the PDP would challenge and interrogate the record of the incumbents both at the Federal level and the State through democratic channels.

“We want to win on issues, not violence, character assassination, and gangsterism. We will interrogate and challenge their records, bare same to the public, through which the electorates will vote them out in 2023.

“PDP will be an issue-based campaign, not throwing stones at people like what governor Sule said that APC would crush any opposition that comes close to them”, Maku said.

The State’s gubernatorial candidate of the PDP, Mr. David Umbugadu, said the PDP was on a rescue mission to save the country and the state from APC.

He said  the party would dwell on how it will move the country and state forward when it takes the reign in 2023.

Umbugadu lamented that Nasarawa state is underdeveloped in all facets.

“PDP has the passion for the people of Nasarawa state and would run an inclusive government if given the mandate,” he said.

Also speaking, the PDP chairman in the state Mr. Francis Orogo, called on the people of Nasarawa to vote for PDP for good governance.

Orogo said that democracy was all about good governance and advising governor Sule to prepare for serious challenges and debates come 2023.

He said that the PDP Presidential and governorship candidates Atiku Abubakar and David Umbugadu have a very comprehensive program for Nigeria and Nasarawa state, thereby, 2023 would be a year of reckoning as PDP would be in power.

Consequently, the former Director General National Orientation Agency, NOA Mr. Mike Omeri, and the head of media and publicity for the Atiku/Ombugadu campaign organization in Nasarawa state revealed the Itinerary for the part 2023 campaign.

He said their campaign would kick start on the 28th of November, to end on the 31st of January, 2023.
