Determined to make its second consecutive season in the NPFL a success, Shooting Stars of Ibadan unveiled Gbenga Ogunbote as its new manager.
Talking about third time lucky.
Ogunbote left newly promoted Remo Stars of Ikenne at the end of the season having shocked the Nigerian football fraternity by grabbing third spot and a continental ticket.
The gaffer has signed a two-year contract to replace Edith Agoye who was sacked for a not-too-impressive performance with the Oluyole Warriors last season.
Many football fans were stunned when Remo Stars allowed Ogunbote leave earlier this month by mutual consent.
But Ogunbote was presented to the fans at the Lekan Salami stadium, Adamasingba.
This was done in the presence of Oyo State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Asiwaju Seun Fakorede, Chairman Oyo State Sports Council, Hon. Gbenga Adewusi (Arole), Chairman Shooting Stars, Hon Babatunde Olaniyan among others.
