“Here you can see that it is very peaceful, Nigerians are determined to vote and be counted and the turnout looks quite okay.”

Meanwhile, a person living with disability, Miss Bature Audu who described the process as fair and smooth however, pleaded with the electoral body, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to make adequate provisions for physically challenged persons in subsequent elections.

She complained of the challenges she had to go through which included being carried to the polling booth to vote adding that her colleagues were not given consideration and were therefore discouraged to come and vote for fear of being stigmatised or pitied.

Miss Audu who runs a hair business appealed to the Electoral body to make the process more convenient for them as they are also part of the citizens of the country.

She further commended the ad-hoc staff for the help they rendered to her.

Meanwhile, at the Mado Gate polling Unit at Government Secondary School Tudun Wada in Jos, Plateau State, there was confusion over the redeployment of voter polling units.

The crowd staged a peaceful protest insisting no voting will be done unless they were informed on where they have been redeployed to.

Also, there was a situation at the Dadin Kowa area of Jos South Local Government Area (Zawan A) polling unit where over one thousand registered voters could not find their names on the register.

Upon inquiry, one of the voters said they were informed by INEC officials that their polling unit had been relocated to Government College Zawan, in Jos, Plateau State.
