A lawyer and policy strategist, Dr. Oracle Nwala, has called for the adoption of a “disruptive strategy” to drive governance and development in Nigeria.

Speaking at the unveiling of his book, ‘Disruptive Strategies: Unveiling Personal Definitive Strategists,’ in Abuja, Nwala argued that challenging conventional approaches could accelerate national progress.

Nwala, a legal expert with over 25 years of experience, defined disruptive strategy as taking decisive actions to achieve results, even if they deviate from established procedures.

He cited the removal of fuel subsidies by President Bola Tinubu as an example, suggesting that such disruptions could drive economic growth.

The book reviewer, Prof. Ahmed Okene, described disruptive strategy as a method of questioning existing norms to improve efficiency and governance.

However, some experts caution that while disruption can lead to innovation, it must be balanced with stability to avoid unintended consequences.

The book aims to help individuals and policymakers rethink their approaches to success and leadership.

While the concept of disruption has proven effective in technology and entrepreneurship, its application in governance remains a subject of debate.
