A traditional title of the Defender of the Dynasty – “Zanna Yawu Dima of Laffan Bare -Bari, has been conferred on President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, at the Palace of Emir of Lafia, Nasarawa State, North central Nigeria.

The Emir of Lafia, Sidi Bage said the title was bestowed on the Chief of staff as a result of his uprightness in public service.

Professor Ibrahim Gambari, who was on a two-day official visit to Nassarawa state, while accepting the traditional title,  promised to continue to do his best at all times to humanity and uphold the trust of the people of Lafia Emirate and the country at large.

He also urged Nigerians to embrace peace, unity and diversity for the success and development of the country.

According to him, leaders must work assiduously towards unity and tolerance among ethnic groups in the country.

Meanwhile, the Chief of Staff who had earlier visited the Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Development Institute (AMEDI) Lafia, said the construction of the agricultural centre across the country was a symbol of commitment to the development of agriculture across the country.

He expressed confidence that the project, which was built by the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) would enable Nigeria to scale new heights in agricultural produce.

“It is a good pleasure for me to be here physically, a groundbreaking ceremony was done on August which I am proud to be associated with, and now I am here to see the tremendous progress that had been made. By God’s grace before the end of this administration, this would be a commission that raised the level of the agricultural and value chain in the country.”
