The Presidency has dismissed claims made by the former Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ralph Nwosu, that senior officials in President Bola Tinubu’s administration promised him three ministerial positions in exchange for not merging his party into the coalition.
Responding on his X handle formerly Twitter @BwalaDaniel, Special Adviser to the President on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, said Nwosu’s claims lack credibility and are figments of his mind.
Reeling out his facts, Bwala said “No government official(s) of whatever rank in our government can promise or grant ministerial slots but Mr President.
“From his words as reported you know that he lied that senior government officials of the @officialABAT administration promised him 3 ministerial slots to not surrender his party to the coalition for a wild goose chase.
“The same courage he mustered saying he was promised slots by the officials could have been used in mentioning their names and positions in this government.
“They are painfully graduating to the association of jesters or the Association of Disorganised Characters,” he added.
