President Buhari Returns To Abuja After Education Summit In London

President Muhammadu Buhari is back  in Abuja after joining world leaders in making firm commitment to increase funding of education sector at the recent Global Education Summit in London, United Kingdom.

The President, who touched down on Friday evening was received at the Presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by his Chief of Staff, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Malam Muhammed Bello, security chiefs as well as some presidential aides.

While in London, the Nigerian leader also used the opportunity of the trip to also spend a few days for his medical check-up.

At the education summit, President Buhari pledged to increase the budget for the education sector in Nigeria by as much as 50 per cent over the next two years. Here are some pictures of the President’s arrival:
